Perinatal Mental Health and Parent–Infant Psychological Therapy

Having a baby can be one of the most wonderful and most challenging times for birthing parents and non-birthing parents alike. I offer theraputic support for parents and babies from pregnancy through the preschool years to help you navigate the often intense and complex parenthood journey with increased self-compassion, understanding and confidence.

I can help with:

  • Emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and after birth
  • Recovery from birth trauma or frightening beginnings such as premature arrivals and neonatal health concerns
  • Building confidence in caring for your baby
  • Making sense of and managing difficult or complex feelings about yourself, your baby or your relaitonships at this time
  • Worries about feeling connected or 'bonding' with your baby
  • Understanding and responding to your baby’s cues
  • Making sense of things when your own story or experiences of being parented can make parenting feel overwhelming
  • Parent's' relationship difficulties around the time of having a new baby or young children
